Cheers.
I have downloaded the spanish version of Thundersub that you have linked on your site.
Now we need to find som spanish fansubbers group that can give us some english subtitles.
How hard could that be?

Or have you tried that before?

Well I suspect it won't be easy.

Basically what we need is to find a group who are fluent in both English and Spanish, doesn't really matter from where they are. But there are a few problems...

1. Most fansubbers sub from Japanese to their native language, I'd say it's pretty rare to go another route.
2. Most fansubbers only sub series that haven't been licensed yet. Thundersub has not only been licensed (several years ago) but also released in English and many other languages, I somehow doubt most will be enthusiastic about taking on such a project.

However if someone here is fluent in Spanish and English and is willing to do some translating we can do some basic SRT subtitles, example follows:

Code:
1
00:01:49,080 --> 00:01:52,072
When will you race me?

2
00:01:54,520 --> 00:01:57,273
If you can defeat all the
racers from Qun Ma Mountain

3
00:01:57,680 --> 00:01:59,113
I will race you.

4
00:01:59,160 --> 00:02:00,149
All those mountain roads...

Basically it’s just a text file that you load with the video file with players like VLC or Media Player Classic. Pretty easy to do but we need at least one person fluent in both English and Spanish and one or two who does the timing (that is one who sets the time when and for how long the subtitles will be displayed). We can keep at a slow pace so that it doesn’t get too stressful but first we need a translator…

Hello
If you are still interested in creating english subtitles I can help you by translating the dialogues from the greek dubs on youtube.

Just a as a quick update, there is now the original Japanese audio DVD quality Thundersub/Blue Noah episodes available for download from here: http://www.mininova.org/search/?search=Blue+Noah

Now if any you happen to have any contacts with in a fan subbing group, try to get them interested in it.
